Built on the Belief
That Play Changes Everything
We started playrippl.cyou with a simple conviction: that when people play together, something shifts. Barriers lower. Ideas surface. Communities form. That conviction still drives every decision we make.
From a Kitchen Table
to a Movement
In 2021, four friends with backgrounds in event production, UX design, music, and community organizing sat around a kitchen table in Williamsburg arguing about one thing: why did most entertainment feel so shallow?
They weren't interested in another platform, another app, another "experience" that people would forget before the week was out. They wanted to make things that rippled — ideas and moments that moved through people and communities long after the lights went down.
playrippl.cyou was born from that argument, and it's never really stopped. Every project we take on begins with the same question: will this leave a ripple?
Our Mission & Values
These aren't statements on a wall. They're the operating system behind every experience we create.
Play is Serious
We refuse to treat play as frivolous. Joy, competition, creativity, and connection are fundamental human needs — and we take their design seriously.
Depth Over Scale
A hundred people who are deeply moved matters more than ten thousand who scroll past. We optimize for resonance, not reach.
Community First
Every experience we create is in service of the people who will inhabit it. Their trust is our most valuable asset, and we protect it accordingly.
Honest Craft
We'd rather do fewer things well than many things superficially. Our standards come from care, not ego — and the work reflects that distinction.
Openness
Play thrives in openness. We maintain an inclusive, welcoming environment across every platform and event — always.
Long-Term Thinking
Ripples don't stop. We build relationships, experiences, and systems designed to keep creating value over years, not quarters.
